Run or walk 5KM or 10KM and Help us raise funds for Ukraine. Money raised through this event will enable charitable organizations to respond to humanitarian needs in Ukraine.

About the Fundraiser
Like you, we are watching the situation in Ukraine with great sadness. The worsening hostilities will have severe humanitarian consequences for the people of Ukraine, some who have already endured years of instability.
VR Pro will be raising funds for Ukraine through this 5KM/10KM run and walk. Participants can choose between two different charities to raise funds for, The Canadian Red Cross, or Help us Help Them Ukraine.
Your donation will help provide humanitarian assistance and alleviate suffering in Ukraine.

Everyone who donates, $25 or more will get a special gift from VR Pro.
We will have prizes for the top three overall fundraisers. We encourage everyone to collect pledges and donations from family and friends after signing up for the run/walk.

Race Route
The race route will take you through the beautiful trails of Bronte Creek Provincial Park. The 5KM race will complete one loop of the park and the 10KM race will complete two loops of the park. There will be two water stations along the 5KM loop. The race will start and end at the Green Shelter near the day use entrance area.

The Bronte Creek 5K/10K is an Athletics Ontario sanctioned race. Athletics Ontario is the provincial governing body for the sport of Athletics, which includes track and field, cross-country, racewalking, road and mountain/ultra/trail running. AO offers a variety of programming and resources including grassroot youth track and field to cross-country; coach and official training; and club, training program and running race organization membership - all to underpin its vision and mission of supporting and fostering growth in participation in our sport of Athletics.

Virtual Race Details
Track your virtual run/walk and submit your results for the Bronte Creek Race using the ASICS Runkeeper™ app
The Virtual Bronte Creek race can be completed anytime between May 10th and June 10th
How to track your run/walk and record your results using the RunkeeperTM app:
1. From your mobile device, go to your Race Roster dashboard for this event HERE
2. Click on the “Connect to my app” button, where you will be asked to confirm your name within the app (confirm your name and the event will be added to your app)
3. Revisit the Runkeeper™ app when you are ready to participate. From your start screen, click the flag symbol (bottom right) and select the race to start recording.
4. Complete your distance and save the activity. Your results will be automatically posted to the Race Roster leaderboard HERE
5. From the results page, click on your name to see your finisher summary
How to submit your results without RunkeeperTM app:
Please submit the results for your virtual race on the results page.
1. Make sure you are logged into your participant dashboard here.
2. Go to the virtual results page: https://results.raceroster.com/en-US/results/e9nwa6wtsncsa5u5
3. Click the submit a virtual result button
4. Enter your time it took you to complete the race and submit your results.
Everyone who posts their results will receive a virtual finisher's certificate.
