Our story…
Jacob was diagnosed with systemic idiopathic juvenile arthritis in October 2021, on his 8th birthday. He is currently in medicated remission thanks to early diagnosis, wonderful doctors, newly developed medicine and a bit of luck. There is a strong possibility of flares and that this will be a lifelong journey, but when life gives you lemons 🍋, make lemonade!
Jake's Lemonade and Cookie stand will be open various weekends in July, August and September featuring fresh, hand squeezed lemonade and homemade chocolate chip cookies at the corner of Forman Ave and Lloyd Crt in Stratford.
There will be the option to donate your purchase to his Juvenile Arthritis awareness walk fundraising for Cassie and Friends Society for Juvenile Arthritis and Rheumatic Diseases on Sept 25th.
