Lou has been battling liposarcoma for over 20 years. Unfortunately, the cancer is catching up with him, but for over 20 years, Penn has given Lou a life he didn't think would be possible.  When he was diagnosed at 29 (after years of misdiagnosis) he and his wife had has just had their first child, bought their first home, and he had just started with his new business partner.  Thanks to Penn's sarcoma program, what we thought may have been an end, was a beginning of a new chapter for his young family.  Now, with three kids,  2 of which are in college, Lou has been able to enjoy watching his children become wonderful young adults. He has been able to celebrate their successes with them, coach them in sports, volunteer at their schools, take them on adventures around the world, and be the best Dad and husband anyone would be lucky to have.
