Weibel Wildcat Run

Our Wildcat Run Fundraiser has kicked off!

This important event will help us raise much needed funds to reach our budget for this school year. Please ask family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and others to participate in our fundraisers. The more funds we collect, the more the PTO can do for our students.

Over the years, volunteers and monetary donations have supported EVERY single aspect of the school. A very partial list of things the PTO does every year:

• Fun events such as Wildcat Run, Movie Night, Carnival, Bingo Night, Science Night, Author assemblies, Family Reading Night, Pancake Breakfast, etc.
• Support each grade level with grade level grants
• Support the library with funds for both literature books (used in the classroom during regular instruction) and books for the students to check out
• New computer lab
• Ipad lab
• Mobile computer lab
• Science lab equipment
• PE equipment

And the list goes on....

This year, PTO is assisting with the school’s most recent campus improvement initiative to place picnic benches across campus. The students need places to sit and hang out. We want to get more benches on our campus. A portion ($10,000) of the funds raised will be used to buy new benches.

We are asking that each student raise at least $70 in order to meet our event goal of raising $35,000.

There are some amazing individual prizes, class prizes, and raffle prizes students can win through raising funds. In order to have your donations count toward prizes, they need to be received by the day of the run, April 12th.

Each student can create their own fundraising page. To raise money, share your child’s webpage address with family and friends by email, Facebook or any other method you prefer. You can also share your child’s webpage easily by clicking on one of the “share” icons on the right side of the page. Please help and encourage your child to surpass his/her goal of $70.
