5K Fun Run | 9 a.m.
Pet Expo | 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Paws & Sneakers check-in begins at 8 a.m. and the 5k starts at 9 a.m. Would you run for a Scooby Snack? The doggy race winners will receive treats for finishing first.
After the race ends, participants may explore the family-friendly Pet Expo.
What's the Pet Expo? Local pet businesses and nonprofits join us to support all the things we do for animals and all the wonderful things our animals do for us. You can expect pet supply stores, therapy animals, and more!
Please bring your pup to join in! After all, we need the paws AND sneakers. Help the Humane Society of Weld County spread compassion for animals and end animal suffering in our community. Register, sign up for a team, fundraise for HSWC, and run to save the animals of Weld County!
Want to "rent a shelter dog" for the day? We will reach out before the event with details.

About the Humane Society of Weld County
The Humane Society of Weld County is the ONLY open-admissions shelter in all of Weld County.
What does that mean? We take in every lost, homeless, and unwanted animal that needs us. Then, we help those animals in need either reunite with their families or find new families who love them. Last year, 94% of the animals who came into our care were either reunited with their family, adopted, or transferred to another rescue.
Why you should support HSWC?
The Humane Society of Weld County cares for 4,000+ animals each year. Many of these animals need our help to overcome medical issues, neglect, and/or abuse. We can only help them through the support of our donors and community.
How can you make a difference?
Supporting Paws & Sneakers directly supports the animals of Weld County. Fundraising with your team will make a huge difference in the lives of the animals who need you now.
