My Story…
I have decided to set the bar high this year! Would you please join me as I try to raise $25,000 for Open Door Ministries (ODM) to commemorate their 25th anniversary year? I am teaming with their Executive Director, David Warren, who has also agreed to this $25,000 personal fundraising challenge. We hope to raise $50,000 between the two of us towards ODM's overall goal of $100,000 – challenge on!
For those who aren't as familiar, ODM has 20 programs serving the homeless and the poor in urban Denver. ODM focuses on tangible needs like food, shelter, access to education and employment training, as well as intangible needs such as friendship, hope, and Christian spiritual guidance. Their overall goal is to help people up and out of their difficult situations and onto the road to self-sufficiency. Check out www.odmdenver.org for more information.
