Help Kerry raise money

Hello Family and Friends ~

One year ago, my sister Sarah, a healthy, vibrant 53-year-old was given the brutal diagnosis of advanced stage ovarian cancer. Two major surgeries, three biopsies, many rounds of invasive chemotherapy and countless doctor appointments later, her doctor says she has “no evidence of disease”!!   Of course her journey continues but she is so incredibly grateful for her current status! 

To help spread the word about early-stage symptoms and detection of ovarian cancer, I have joined “Sarah’s Team F* Cancer” to participate in Jodi’s Race for ovarian cancer awareness.  Taking place on June 11th, this is the largest ovarian cancer race/event in the country and it benefits the amazing programs of the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance (COCA).  

COCA, a non-profit, provides a variety of programs and services to provide such things as financial support for low income women, monthly Zoom meetings to not feel so alone, personal mentoring, restorative yoga classes, insurance and health care guidance, and much more to women impacted by this life-changing disease.  

COCA has been SO important in helping Sarah during the past year! She and our team want to help keep these programs stay afloat for her and others seeking to overcome this disease (of note, COCA exists on donations alone).

Our team goal this year is to raise $12,500.  She wants to beat last years’ donations and, with your help, we can!!   

I have already made my personal donation of $250 and I’m asking you to also please step up and join us by donating to Sarah’s Team *F Cancer -- it would mean the world to me to help my sister and means SO much to my entire family -- thank you in advance for a heartful donation!
