Celebrate the return of American Shad to the Brandywine River at the 2nd Annual Brandywine Shadfest! Hosted by Brandywine Shad 2020 and over a dozen environmental organizations. The family-friendly event will kick off with the ShadRun 5k and will include fun and educational exhibits, activities, live music, food trucks and sustainable vendors. For more information on Brandywine Shad 2020 enjoy this presentation on the work being done to enable the return of the American Shad to the Brandywine after nearly 300 years.

Brandywine Park was the first city park established by the city of Wilmington, Delaware.
It is located on the banks of Brandywine Creek, between Augustine Road and North Market Street.
NOTICE: No dogs allowed due to insurance liability. Bibs are non-transferable. Please reference our policies page for more details.
