My Story…
My Story...I had 3 heart attacks all caused by 2 dissections in my arteries one resulting in emergency surgery and 4 stents.
My truth...I had many traumatic experiences within 2 weeks. One with no answers, one my children had to witness and one where I died twice. I wish this upon no one; it has taken me years to build back my self-confidence and strength all while those I love the most had to watch me spiral.
My hope...to build awareness about SCAD and to know the signs, to support those that this happens to with no judgement of recovery.
I feel so blessed to be the coordinator of this event, it is my way of thanking God for my gifts and the gift of life I was once again given.
