My Story…
On the morning of June 30, 2019 something just wasn't right. A little achiness in my chest, lightheaded, nauseated and sweaty. To the ER we went and in less than 30 minutes of arriving I went into ventricular fibrillation and cardiac arrest. CPR and shock brought me back before I could see Heaven and I was rushed to United where we learned about SCAD - Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection. A week later I got my S-ICD (implanted defibrillator).
I'm so thankful for a second chance at life and love every minute spent with my beautiful family and friends. Please join me in raising awareness and money for research so we can learn more about the rare thing called SCAD.
