Join the Rotary Club of Los Gatos for the 44th (almost)-Annual Great Race. Some changes this year as the course that we have run since 1978 down Highway 9 has become cost prohibitive. As all of us have done often the last 2 years, it was time to pivot.

The new course will cover 4 miles in Vasona and Oak Meadow Parks, some of it to trails many park users may have never ventured. The course will be certified, and it will be fast. There will be an aid station and many course monitors ensuring all participants stay on course. Event will begin at 8:30am.

Another benefit of start/finish line in Vasona Park is that for the first time ever, we are offering a 1-Mile Kids Fun Run at 8:10am prior to the main event.

As an added bonus for the kids- S.J. Sharkie will be there from the San Jose Sharks to cheer on the kids in the 1-Mile Race!

Proceeds from the race will, as always, support scholarships for local high school youth as well as Los Gatos Rotary's local and global service projects.

1st Place Male Finisher: $100 Gift Certificate from Athletic Performance on Main St.

BIB PICK-UP:

If you chose to have your bib mailed to you, they were sent out last Friday so you should have it, or will within the next couple of days.

For those of you who did not opt to have your bib mailed to you, you can pick it up on race morning at Will Call in the race day registration area at the Gateway Pavilion near the Start/Finish line.

PARKING- VERY IMPORTANT!

There is plenty of parking available within Vasona Park from 6:30-7:45am for $10. If you do this, please arrive early as we will be closing the park down to vehicles at 7:45am and it will not be open again until 10:30am. If possible, please bring cash to keep the line of cars moving.

You can also park on University Ave or other Los Gatos streets and jog/walk into Vasona Park.

Whichever option you choose, please allow yourself enough time to get to the race by starting times.

SWEAT BAGS

There will be a table near the registration area with sweat bags to store your items during the race.
