Hello HBCU family and supporters,
We are excited to announce our 2022 Philadelphia HBCU 5K Run/Walk scheduled for Saturday, June 25th at Memorial Hall! The National HBCU Alumni Alliance which consists of affiliates in Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Washington DC has partnered with Congressman John Lewis' estate to honor him and rename all of our 5K events the John R. Lewis GOOD TROUBLE Community Day. As always your generosity through sponsorships, registrations, and donations will directly help support our college scholarships for prospective and current students attending HBCUs. Additionally, it will support our national core initiatives of Health and Wellness, Hunger Relief, and Higher Education in the Philadelphia Metro Area.
This is a hybrid event where you can either choose a phenomenal in-person experience or take the opportunity to support us virtually from anywhere in the world. Rest assured our 5K will be like no other - given our individual love to assist those aspiring students in need, helping our local communities affected by systematic disparities, passion for our beloved institutions, our competitive nature, and our drive to be the best.
Our entire team is ready to assist you and is truly humbled by your support of our mission and commitment to our communities and the students we serve - our future leaders. Because of individuals and corporations like you, we are able to flourish, sustain, and continue building indelible legacies for many generations to come. Let's get into some GOOD TROUBLE together.
Service is our Legacy & Future,
Gregory T. Wilson, MPA
President
