The Donor Dash is a 5K run/walk to honor the lives of organ and tissue donors, celebrate the lives of organ and tissue recipients and recognize those who continue to wait for a lifesaving transplant.
We are so excited to announce that we will be back in-person at Washington Park for the 23rd Annual Donor Dash on Sunday, July 17!
You can still participate virtually. Add the shipping fee to your registration and then on race day, track your 5K through the RunKeeper app.
Your safety is our number one priority. The Donor Dash committee will continue to monitor COVID regulations and protocol to ensure our participants, staff, volunteers, vendors and community are safe and will update participants with changes as necessary.

Packet Pick Up
- You must register online by midnight on Sunday, July 10, for early packet pickup.
- Early Packet Pickup will be Wednesday, July 13, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm at Donor Alliance.
- Team captains are responsible for picking up and distributing their team's packets.
- Unclaimed packets will be available for pick up beginning at 7 a.m. on race day. Due to the high volume, we encourage you to arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of the race.

Directions
From northbound I-25, take the Downing Street exit. From southbound I-25, take the Washington/Emerson St. exit.
Turn north on Downing Street. Turn right onto Louisiana Avenue (the park will be on your left-hand side).
After going through the light on Franklin Street, make a right into the South High School parking lot. Walk north to the intersection of Franklin and Mississippi where you will see the Start/Finish line.
Road Closures During the Donor Dash
Be advised roads surrounding Washington Park will be closed and be inaccessible to vehicles starting at 7:30 am on race day.

Donor Dash- A Run for Life!
Over the past few years, we have received concern from our participants about the balloon release at the Annual Donor Dash. We have made the decision to no longer include the balloon release to better protect our community and all species that call Colorado home. On July 17, we look forward to honoring the generosity of organ, eye and tissue donors and their families, celebrating the lives of transplant recipients and recognizing those who continue to wait.
