My Story…
As many of you know, I have suffered from Daily Chronic Migraines since 3rd grade. In my freshman year of high school, I was forced to leave due to debilitating pain. I could not return to a regular classroom routine and spent 90% of my high school years at home. Somehow I managed to graduate but was robbed of an education due to pain. I wanted nothing more than to go to college with my peers; however, I had to realize that I couldn't. I would need to stay home and continue to get treatments, see doctors and learn to manage and live with my pain. I will keep moving forward at a different pace than my peers, and I have accepted that on some level (I think). After my last M4M fundraiser in 2019, I was selected to attend Headache On the Hill in DC, where I worked to increase public policy and raise awareness for migraine. At that event, I was featured on a PBS interview that explained the reality of Migraine....Check It Out !!!!
