My Story…
My mom and I are walking to raise funds and awareness for migraines. I have been living with a constant migraine for 19 months, with an average of 28-30 migraine days/month. I have had to medically defer college, quit every job I had and miss more family and friend functions that I can count. I have tried more than 30 medicines, been hospitalized twice and tried many therapies and "cure all" products in hopes that something will work. I've even been to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. My journey began at CHOP and we have recently switched to Jefferson Headache Center. I'm walking so that doctors and researchers can continue to find new medicines and therapies for me to try so I can get back to living my life.
