My Story…
This is my 28th year working at VON and although I could retire I won’t as I don’t want to leave my work family. Personally, VON helped me through a cancer diagnosis in 2001 and 2018. Also, VON took very good care of my Mum in her final year. You're never alone as long as VON is around - I am very proud to be a part of such an amazing, caring organization! We help so many in our community live healthy, independent lives and life to the fullest. My goal this year is to raise $3,000 to enable VON to continue to provide the much-needed programs and services. Thank you for your support!
Description
VON Middlesex-Elgin relies on community support to fund program subsidies, equipment and staff education. It allows VON to address the unique needs of our community residents to maintain essential programs and services such as Adult Day Program, Bereavement Services, Home at Last, Meals on Wheels, SMART® Exercise & Falls Prevention Program and Accessible Transportation Services, just to name a few.
