My Story…
Michelle and I have been volunteering for VON Middlesex Elgin for several years. The broad range and depth of the many services provided by VON has improved quality of life for thousands of people in the Middlesex Elgin area. We have also used their services following certain medical procedures and their caring approach was amazing. As we all get older, many of us, our families or our friends will need support to maintain our independence, to allow us to stay in our own homes and to enjoy a quality of life not available in institutions. I will be walking an average of 8 km every day for the next 30 days to reach a goal of 240 km. Please help us reach and exceed our fundraising goal for VON Middlesex Elgin
Description
VON Middlesex-Elgin relies on community support to fund program subsidies, equipment and staff education. It allows VON to address the unique needs of our community residents to maintain essential programs and services such as Adult Day Program, Bereavement Services, Home at Last, Meals on Wheels, SMART® Exercise & Falls Prevention Program and Accessible Transportation Services, just to name a few.
