8th annual Hike for Hospice
in support of
Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth
On Sunday, June 5th let's come together again to Hike for Rotary Hospice!
This year, we're excited to offer two options for participation:
- virtually, as done the past two years;
- or join us in person at the Stratford Perth Museum!
Or, do both! Hike where you like and then join us on the Museum grounds for a BBQ lunch (and more) and a chance to collectively reflect, remember, and honour loved ones.
Here is what you need to know for Hike for Hospice on Sunday, June 5, 2022:
In-Person Walk: Join us at the Stratford Perth Museum to walk the Tom Orr Trail, enjoy outdoor activities, and stay to join us for a BBQ lunch afterwards.
Please note: the trail is not paved and extends into a wooded area. It is a short trail of approximately 1km with kids' and nature activities to add interest. Accessible washrooms are on site.
Virtual Walk: If your preference is to participate virtually, you are most welcome to continue doing so! We would love to see your photos of your 'hike where you like' and share them on our social media pages. Please send them to Katie Stevens, Special Events Assistant at: student@rotaryhospice.ca or use our hashtags #Hike4RotaryHospice #HikeforRHSP or tag us @RotaryHospiceStratfordPerth .

Frequently Asked Questions:
What is this year's hike going to be like?
⦁ For this year's hike, we are giving hikers the opportunity to join us in person at the Stratford Perth Museum. Registration opens at 10:30am and we invite you to walk the Tom Orr Trail on the Museum grounds, enjoy interactive activities and musical entertainment, tour the Museum exhibits, and meet our sponsors. The formal portion of the day begins at 12:00pm (noon) with words of thanks and a moment of reflection, followed by a BBQ lunch for all participants, courtesy of the Rocher family.
Want to hike on your own? We respect all comfort levels, just don't forget to share your pictures with us!
The museum exhibits will also be of charge for the day for all hikers to explore. The Museum exhibits are accessible, as are the outdoor washrooms. Please note, the Tom Orr Trail is not paved.
