For 18 years, the annual runBlossom race has helped usher in the summer season in Cañon City. As the snow melts and the leaves begin to adorn trees, runners of all ages come together to celebrate the Cañon City Music and Blossom Festival. The runBlossom 5K event showcases the Arkansas Rivewalk Trail, running alongside the river and through some of the most scenic portions of the area.
This year we've added a virtual option, allowing participants to join us virtually at your their own pace on a day that works best for you! (Virtual participants will not be eligible for age-group awards, but will receive a bib and shirt in the mail.)
As part of the City of Cañon City's Sesquicentennial Celebration, we invite our runners to partake in a 'Decades' outfit theme. Dress in your favorite decade's clothing!

'VIRTUAL RUN' RULES:
Participants are encouraged to:
1. Run on any day between April 16th and May 7th.
2. Use a timing app (we like MapMyRun and Strava) to record your run / walk.

Virtual 5K Closed
Run, walk, or roll (wheelchair or chariot) the 5K course between April 16th and May 17th! Record your time through any timing app or device and upload the results to see your standing. MUST register by April 15th and upload results by May 7th (midnight) to receive your commemorative t-shirt.

This course is on the fast, relatively-flat Arkansas Rivewalk trail in Cañon City, Colorado. Participants in this event will have the opportunity to jog or walk this non-competetive course. This option is wonderful for first-time runners or those who wish to run with YETI (student) participants.
