The 2nd annual Elaine McMahon Memorial 5K & 1 Mile Walk takes place on Saturday, May 14 at McNamara Park in Westerville, Ohio. Elaine is a Genoa Township resident that passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2021. We are raising money for pancreatic cancer research, and all of the proceeds will be given to the Lustgarten Foundation, the largest private funder of the world’s preeminent pancreatic cancer researchers.
Why Participate? Elaine was a wife, mother & grandmother taken from us much too soon. Early detection is always key to treating any illness especially cancer. 100% of all money raised will go directly to The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Research.

The Lustgarten Foundation is a 501 non-profit organization foundation dedicated to advancing the research related to the diagnosis, treatment, cure and prevention of pancreatic cancer while raising public awareness and providing support to patients and their families.
