The race will begin and end at the front entrance of Hermiston High School (First Street) near the commons.
All funds from the event will go to the Hermiston Education Foundation for the Marissa Worstell Path to Change Memorial Scholarship that will be awarded to graduates of Hermiston High School who show academic or vocational potential and due to their economic circumstances are not able to pay their total college costs.
The purpose of this award is to continue Marissa's commitment to improve our society through offering opportunities to those who otherwise would not have them.
