PLEASE NOTE: Online Registration Has Closed. You can register onsite starting at 7am on the day of the Bubble Fun Run. Prices will be $50 for Adults and $40 for Children. Family Rates are no longer available.
Join Compass to Care for a fun and exciting Bubble Fun Run featuring foaming bubbles at the start line, finish line, and throughout the course! Racers will be able to run, walk, skip, and hop through piles of foaming bubbles!!

Location: Centennial Park- Park Ridge, IL
Distance: 1 MILE and 5K RUN/WALK options for all ages and experience
This family-friendly event has something for everyone:
- A 5K through the beautiful streets of Park Ridge for those who love to run
- A 1 mile walk/run for those who want to get out and get a little exercise and a breath of fresh air
- For our youngest runners, we have short kids races (and every kid who registers will get a medal!!)
- And, of course, BUBBLES to make it extra fun
It is a great morning for anyone who wants to help support kids as they travel to cancer treatment. All childhood cancer survivors, both young and old, register for free and will be honored before the race begins.
Bring your family. Bring your friends. Bring your children. And run through the beautiful streets of Park Ridge to help kids on their cancer journeys.
Please note: To guarantee you will receive your shirt and swag bag prior to race day, you must register no later than July 18th. Participants who register after July 18th may not receive their t-shirts and swag until after the race concludes. So do not delay - REGISTER TODAY!
HONOR WALL for Survivors & Angels: This is a great opportunity to celebrate all childhood cancer survivors and angels. Survivors register for free. We encourage family and friends to bring a photo of any survivor or angel to be displayed on our HONOR WALL.
RACE HERO: This year we are honored to introduce you to this year's Race Hero, John! John is a 16-year-old New Trier student who is fighting a brain tumor.
Awards: Finisher medals will be added to the swag bag during pick-up due to COVID regulations

Kids Races: In addition, we will hold short kids races before the race kicks off for any kid 7 and under who would like to participate. Please register if you would like your child to get a bib and a medal. Listen for an announcement before the race to line up for the fun!

We need your help raising additional funds for kids with cancer. Though certainly not mandatory, we encourage each participant become a FUN-raiser by setting a personal fundraising goal to raise funds for our kids.

What's in the Swag Bag?
It is all about the swag! Each participant registered for the 5K will get a race shirt, a really cool drawstring bag, and your very own finisher medal to show off your awesomeness.
Packet Pick-Up
In-person packet pick will take place at Crossfit Park Ridge, 6325 N Avondale Ave #122, Chicago, IL 60631
- Wednesday, August 3rd: 3pm-6pm
- Thursday, August 4th: 4pm-8pm
If you chose to have your packet shipped to you, and you registered by July 18th, you swag bag will arrive prior to race day.
About Compass to Care
Compass to C
are was founded in 2010 by Park Ridge, IL resident, Michelle Ernsdorff-May. When Michelle was just 14 months old she was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Her parents struggled to pay for the travel expenses necessary to get her to cancer treatment. She founded Compass to Care, in her parents' honor, to help parents pay for the necessary travel expenses to get their children to cancer treatment.
Compass to Care has helped children with cancer travel over 2.4 million miles to access life-saving cancer treatment. By joining the 5K, you will allow them to help even more.
