In keeping with our passion and commitment of giving back to the communities we serve, Jan Dils, Attorneys at Law announces our upcoming Freedom Fun Run 5K. In-Person starting at 8 a.m. on July 9th, 2022 in Parkersburg, WV and the Virtual 5K starting July 2nd and ending July 8th, 2022.
Our prior events for Veterans have been incredibly successful, and we expect to draw record numbers of attendees who are excited to be able to support the men and women who have served our country.
100% of the Freedom Fun Run 5K proceeds will go to benefit Operation Transportation, We Have Your Six – Parkersburg Division, as well as Jan Dils Foundation Scholarship for Veteran Recipients.
*** Participants who wish to participate in the Virtual 5K MUST use a fitness tracker to record their time and submit a photo of proof along with their timed results. Those who fail to do so, will not qualify for awards.
ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR THE IN-PERSON RACE WILL CLOSE AT 11:59 PM ON FRIDAY, JULY 8TH.
ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR THE VIRTUAL RACE WILL CLOSE ON FRIDAY JULY 1ST AT 12:00PM.
IN-PERSON RACE SIGN-IN BEGINS AT 7:00 AM JULY 9TH.
FUN RUN 5K WILL BEGIN AT 8:00 AM JULY 9TH.

Race Day Timeline
7:00 am - Check-in/Packet pick-up and Registration Opens
7:50 am - The National Anthem plays - make your way to starting line
8:00 am - Race Begins (Horn)
When racers are finished there will be refreshments and entertainment in the Jan Dils, Attorneys at Law parking lot.
Awards ceremony will begin 15 minutes after the race is concluded.

5K Course Description
The race begins in front of the Jan Dils office at 963 Market Street, Starting south on Market Street making a small CCW loop utilizing 9-1/2 Street, Avery and 11th Streets back to Market. It then makes a large CCW loop via Market Street going past the court house to 2nd Street, turning left onto Avery Street and then left on 18th and Market Streets, continuing on Market Street back to the start/finish area at the Jan Dils office.
