2022 Palo Alto Weekly Moonlight Run and Walk

• Can I register in person on race night?

Yes, race night registration will be available at the Baylands Athletic Center beginning at 5 p.m.

• Can I switch events?

If you would like to switch your event please email moonlightrun@paweekly.com. If you would like to switch events on race night, please visit the HQ tent.

• When do race results come out and where can I find them?

Race results will be available on computer monitors at the Baylands Athletic Center beginning at approximately 9:30 p.m. and posted online at PaloAltoOnline.com shortly after.

• I signed up for the virtual race, how do I pick up my shirt?

T-shirts for virtual participants will be available for pick up the week after the race at the Palo Alto Weekly office in Palo Alto. If you can’t pick up your shirt please email moonlightrun@paweekly.com for more information.

• Can I change my shirt size?

Shirts can be exchanged on race night at the HQ tent while supplies last. Late and race night registrants are not guaranteed shirts.

• Are there medal ceremonies for each event?

Medals for first, second and third place finishers in each division will be handed out on race night after all races have finished, or arrangements may be made to pick them up at the Palo Alto Weekly office after Sept. 9 by emailing moonlightrun@paweekly.com.

• Can I sign up as a team? How can I add people to a group after they’ve registered?

You can create a team when you register online and add any additional members. If you have already registered and would like to create a team please email moonlightrun@paweekly.com with the team name, team leader email address and any other registered users you would like to add.

• Can I transfer my registration to another person?

You can transfer your registration to another person through your Race Roster portal or by contacting moonlightrun@paweekly.com.

• Are there extra shirts available to purchase?

Extra shirts are usually available for purchase on race night at the HQ tent for $20, while supplies last.

• I signed up for the virtual race, how do I send in my race times?

You do not need to submit your race times if you have participated in the virtual race. Virtual runners are not eligible for awards and will not be included in the final race times.

• I can’t attend the race anymore, can I get a refund?

We do not offer refunds for race registration, but you may transfer your registration to another person on the race website.

• Are dogs/strollers allowed on the course?

Dogs are permitted on the 5K walk but not on the runs. No retractable leashes. Please bring your own clean-up bag. Jogging strollers are welcome on the 5k walk or at the back of the runs.

• Where can I park my car?

Police and volunteers will direct you to park in nearby business lots off Embarcadero Rd. and E. Bayshore Rd. Please do not park in the Stanford Eye Clinic lot.
