Please help our team support April Lynn "Suki" Murphy and family by walking the 5K with us or by making a donation.  April, who’s nickname is Suki, is on the wait list to become a client at Opportunity Village.  

April has had health issues her whole life because of her disability but she is so strong.  She was diagnosed with Down’s Syndrome at birth, but doesn’t complain about her issues or challenges. She just powers through. 

April is a very strong-willed woman. If she wants something, she usually gets it. She once attempted to run away because she wanted a Frosty from Wendy’s and mama wasn’t moving fast enough. She didn’t get very far wearing her dad’s size 10 slippers in her size 6 foot.

She loves her family and they believe she has healing powers because of the way she makes them feel after they embrace her.  Her mom, Dana, says that that her entire family loves her so much that they would cease to exist without her.

April is a child at heart and loves EVERYTHING Disney. She is a high end foodie, loving crab, lobster and Japanese cuisine - never giving a second thought to her mama’s pocket book. 😂

April brings non-stop joy to her world and those in her orbit.

And yes, you can still join the team even if you want to run the 5k, we’ll all catch up with you at the finish line. And we can meet up for some day drinking afterwards.
