My Story…
This weekend I’ll be running my first half marathon, the AthHalf! I am so excited to finally participate in a race that I’ve volunteered at while at UGA. I love this race because it raises money to support the arts and music education for Athens-Clarke County K-12 students through AthFest Educates! Many don’t know that Athens-Clarke County is one of the poorest counties in Georgia despite it being home to UGA. The public school system in Athens does not have adequate resources to fully enrich the lives of its students.
