On April 22, 2006, the Military Police (MP) and Close Protection (CP) communities lost two members of their respective units in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast in Afghanistan, Cpl Randy Payne and Cpl Matthew Dinning. In honor of Cpl Payne and Cpl Dinning, the CP trade created a memorial workout dubbed "The Payne Train". This Workout of the Day (WOD) is offered each year on the anniversary of the death of Cpl Payne and Cpl Dinning, and during the CP Qualification course.
In collaboration with our CP and MP members in the NCR, PSP would like to invite you to join us on Friday April 22, 2022 at NDHQ- Carling Campus to participate in "The Payne Train" in memoriam Cpl Randy Payne and Cpl Matthew Dinning.
Opening remarks will be presents by the Canadian Forces Support Group (Ottawa-Gatineau) (CFSG(O-G)) Base Commander, Capt(N) Daniel Bouchard and the Canadian Forces Provost Marshal (CFPM), BGen Simon Trudeau. Please join us at 0930 outside the Afghanistan Memorial Hall (NDHQ-Carling Campus, in between buildings 6 and 8). Workouts will begin at 1000 at the "BeaverFit" gym located in Parking Lot E.

5-4-3-2-1 rounds of "Cindy" (5 pull-ups, 10 push-ups, 15 squats) followed by a 400m run with plates. Modifications will be available if necessary
