My Story…
Please join me in my fundraising efforts that benefit The 14th Annual 5k Walk/Run for The Center for Cancer Care at Griffin Hospital in Derby, CT.
Together with my family and friends, I personally walk in memory of our mom, Louise V. Chmura who was a patient at the center before she passed in 2012 from her 2nd round of breast cancer.
Cancer affects everyone and over the years we've seen it take the lives of countless family & friends. For my 9th year participating, I am so proud to play a small (but very important) role in this local community fundraiser that directly helps various cancer patients and their families while remembering & honoring mine.
