The annual Bunny Hop road race is one of the longest running in Atlantic Canada. For many decades, this 5km and 10km gem has announced the start of the Island's spring racing season and has drawn runners of all abilities to Charlottetown. Once again, this year's race will be held on Easter weekend, on Saturday, April 16th at 8:30 am. For the second straight year, the UPEI Cross Country/Distance team will be hosting the race, this year with the help of Race Roster and Atlantic Chip timing. Last year's return to the traditional "Chelsey Circle" course was a huge hit, highlighted by Stanley Chaisson's blazing 31:40. We will be using the same course this year and are looking forward to a mass start instead of cohorts of 50! As usual, Ladner's Source for Sports and Dairy Queen will be sponsoring the race and providing door prizes. We are also pleased to announce that dri-fit t-shirts will be given to the first 100 registrants, also courtesy of Source for Sports. See you Easter Weekend!
Race starts at 8:30 on Saturday, April 16th in front of Source for Sports and Dairy Queen, 375 University Ave, Charlottetown.
