Project Purple's Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month Virtual Turkey Trot 2022

Before you start your Thanksgiving celebrations, hit the street virtually with Project Purple to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer. This virtual turkey trot is a 5k run or 1-mile walk that you can perform from anywhere in the world - whether that means from your local neighborhood, your treadmill, or even your city/town Turkey Trot 5k!

Because Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month takes place during November, we need your help to drive awareness of our mission both virtually and at your local turkey trots. Your participation in this event would be a big help as we step towards a world without pancreatic cancer.

The five-year survival rate for pancreatic cancer is 11% and has become the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths in 18 states. This is unacceptable to Project Purple and our community and we are committed to finding early detection and supporting those patients and families that are faced with this disease.

By participating in the 2022 turkey trot, you are allowing Project Purple to send care packages and financial assistance to those battling as well as advancing research efforts for early detection.

Project Purple's mission is a world without pancreatic cancer and thanks to your support we will change the outcome of a pancreatic cancer diagnosis and bring hope for the survival of this disease.

Go Purple For A Purpose

If you choose to register and participate in our "Purple" tier, you will receive a 2022 Turkey Trot shirt and custom bib, which you can proudly wear to spread awareness for our mission while participating and during the rest of pancreatic cancer awareness month. We strongly encourage wearing the shirts to your local turkey runs and/or posting photos of yourself with the shirt on social media.

Fundraising Rewards

In addition to the shirts, we also have some awesome incentives and prizes to give out as a thank-you to those who fundraise. The highest fundraising team will win a team set of high-performance New Balance book bags. And any individual who raises over $150 will be given a limited edition Turkey Trot trucker hat.
