For your father, your husband, your brother, your friend, or for you! Join The Urology Center of Colorado Foundation (TUCC Foundation) for the 12th Annual Blue Shoe Run for Prostate Cancer on Saturday, September 10, 2022!
The Blue Shoe Run is a 5K run/walk, 1.5-mile family walk, and kid's fun run taking place just north of Mile High Stadium at TUCC (view course map). Team up with your family, friends, and co-workers to try out our unique course and encourage others to help you fundraise to stomp out prostate cancer.
Online registration will close at 5 pm on Thursday, September 8th, but you can also register at TUCC on race day beginning at 7 a.m.
If you opt to have your race goods mailed to you and want your goods before race day, you must register by Sunday, August 14th. If you register after Sunday, August 14th, and opt to mail your package, it may arrive after race day.
Team registration closes at 5:00 pm on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 4th.
Early packet pickup for TEAMS OF TEN OR MORE REGISTRANTS is on Wednesday, September 7th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at TUCC.
Please note: if the COVID pandemic situation changes we may have to shift to a virtual event. If this occurs registration is non-refundable but funds will still go to prostate cancer research.
All funds benefit prostate cancer research through TUCC Foundation and the American Cancer Society. Since 2010, The Blue Shoe Run has raised more than $600,000 for TUCC Foundation and prostate cancer research.

Team Up to Stomp Out Prostate Cancer!
Team up with your family, friends, co-workers, and others to create your 2022 Blue Shoe Run team!
Team Captains, please take a look at the Team Captain Toolkit link below the picture!
All teams with at least 50 members will receive their own team tents on race day. The first team to reach 25 participants will receive its own Little Shoe tent. The first Blue Shoe Run team to reach 50 participants will be recognized with The Big Blue Shoe tent on the event day. Food and drinks will be available in this area on the west side of the TUCC parking lot. Spirit up your team with great outfits, team t-shirts - whatever proclaims your message about Prostate Cancer!
How to set up a team:
- The team captain must register 1st and name the team.
- For teams that have their registration paid by someone else, the Team Captain needs to arrange for a Team Code with the Race Director before registering even themselves. Contact Jamie Peterson for codes at 303.825-8822 or theblueshoerun@gmail.com.
- Once you have named the team, registered yourself, and set up your code (if needed) - you are ready to send your team invitation emails or call.
- Registration is required by Sunday, September 4th, to guarantee shirt sizes. Shirt sizes are not guaranteed if you register after Sunday, September 4th at 5:00 pm.
Team Packet Pick Up
Only teams of 10 or more will receive their race packets prior to the race. Race packets will be delivered or mailed to teams with ten or more members. Teams with nine or less members may pick up race packets on race day.
Team registration is required by Sunday, September 4th at 11:59.
