My Story…
Hello- and thanks for clicking the link!
I’ve been involved with the CHEO BBQ for 14 years (?!), and am so proud of the dedication of our volunteers, participants and guests on event day. It’s no easy feat, but the time and effort is all worth it knowing that the funds we raise go directly to CHEO for lifesaving resources. Am I becoming mushy now that my sister and her husband have a one year old? You bet. Watching those videos of babies and kids needing help are tear-jerkers for sure!
This year is extra special- it’s our 30th Anniversary! In honour of this milestone, Canadian Pacific Rail is matching our donations up to $15k, to make and even $30 for our 30th!
If it’s in your means to make a donation, we would be most grateful. My personal goal is to raise $100 for every year I've been involved.. but $1500 is a nice round number and once doubled, well, $3000 works with the 30th Anniversary much better!
