As a runner & cyclist, my athletic comfort zone is on the paths NEXT to the mighty Ottawa River. I'm prepared to brave the river and untold muscle groups, however, to support Ottawa Riverkeeper and all the fabulous work it does to advocate for this incredible water body!
Description
Ottawa Riverkeeper has been bringing people together to protect and promote the ecological health of the Ottawa River and watershed for over 20 years! With a watershed bigger than the size of England, measuring 1,271 km (from source to mouth), the Ottawa River is home to more than 24 imperiled species, such as the American eel and the Hickorynut Mussel.
Your donation will help to fund vital programs like the Pollution Hotline, our Watershed Health Assessment & Monitoring program, our Riverwatch network of incredible volunteers, and more!
