Autism Speaks New York 5K

Join us to celebrate World Autism Awareness Day by running or walking a 5K on April 2nd, in Brooklyn, New York or wherever you are, to show your support for people with autism. Your fundraising efforts will empower our work to promote solutions for the needs of people with autism and their families - including those in urgent need of resources right now - and fuel our continued commitment to create a kinder, more inclusive world for people with autism.

Every registered participant will receive a commemorative event shirt and finisher medal to show off your accomplishment and support for a kinder world. 

Whether in person with us at Prospect Park, around your neighborhood, on a treadmill or in your local park, we look forward to seeing our community come together to support the autism community.

Entry fees for the event are as follows:

5K - Adults:
$25 through January 31, 2022
$35 February 1, 2022-February 28, 2022
$40 March 1, 2022 - April 1, 2022
$45 Race Day

5K -Children (14 and under) Virtual and In-Person:
$20

1K Kids Fun Run (Ages 8 and under)

$20

Adult - Virtual:

Adults: $35 (includes shipping of shirt and medal - shirts and medals will be mailed post event)

Online registration will close at 11:59pm EST Friday, April 1st.

VIRTUAL 5K
Can’t be with us in Prospect Park on April 2nd? Participate in our “Virtual 5K” wherever you might be! Register through the website and select the “Virtual 5K” option, and get your shirt and medal mailed directly to you.

RACE DETAILS

Results: Will be available at the conclusion of the event.

Prohibited: For safety reasons, the following are not permitted in the 5K: wheelchairs, strollers, baby joggers, skates, pets, or headphones.
