The Three Fathers Memorial Run is an annual event that honours three RCMP members following a horrific tragedy in Moncton, NB on June 4, 2014. That day, three RCMP officers lost their lives in the line of duty and two were left injured while protecting our community. This left a huge void in the lives of three families and changed the lives of many.

Six short days following this devastating loss, our group gathered quickly to create the run, “3 km for 3 Fathers”. This event was established to remember three amazing Dads and to give their families and the community a place to be together and not be alone on their first Father's Day.

With 7,000 participants in Moncton and thousands in virtual attendance throughout the world, this event has grown into a healing process for the entire Greater Moncton Community. We continue to host the Three Fathers Memorial Run annually with amazing support.

The Three Fathers Memorial Run is part of the legacy of three honourable men, Cst. Larche, Cst. Ross & Cst. Gevaudan, who sacrificed their lives for our local community’s safety. In their memory, we award bursaries to students from the six high schools that the Codiac RCMP serve within the region. The students whose applicants are chosen demonstrate resiliency and involvement in our local community. Since its inception, we have given $18,000 annually in bursaries to 18 deserving students ($1,000 each).

This year will be our 9th annual run / walk, we invite you to support the growth and success of the Three Fathers Memorial Run by participating in our event! All funds raised through registration will go directly to the bursaries.

Virtual Race

As our run / walk is Virtual , we are continuing with a variety of distances for those that would like to walk with their families or those that want to challenge themselves beyond our traditional distances.

- Marathon - 42.2km

Each participant will receive a race kit which includes a race medal and shirt for a $45 registration fee. Race kit pick up will be held at Moncton Honda 1820 Main St. Shipping for all other locations across Canada at an additional cost of $10.
