WINDSOR CORPORATE CHALLENGE 2022
Welcome to the 10th Annual Windsor Corporate Challenge!!! We are proud to announce that we will be returning to an in-person event this year on Saturday, September 10th 2022 at Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex.
We are taking a few extra precautions to ensure our participants, volunteers and committee members are safe during the event this year and therefore will be hosting two sessions for teams to participate in; Morning Session and an Afternoon Session.
Also new this year is the number of participants each team can register. Teams will be able to register 5 players and 2 substitutes.
Similar to previous years, teams will be competing in timed games against each other for the best overall score, team spirit award, and top fundraiser for both individuals and teams which will be announced during the closing ceremony. The games will consist of cognitive, manual coordination, effective communication and overall team building skill set.
This year the charity of choice is something near and dear to the Windsor Corporate Challenge committee. In early 2021, one of the Event Chairs for Windsor Corporate Challenge, Ashley, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 37 therefore we have decided to partner with the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation in honour of our committee member and all those affected by a cancer diagnosis in Windsor-Essex County. We are asking each team to fundraise a minimum of $1,000.00 (or more we hope) which will go towards enhancing the patient experience as well as fund local cancer research.
Since its inception, Windsor Corporate Challenge has supported local charities and fundraised more than 1-Million dollars! What started as a small idea, has evolved, and grown into one of the largest corporate events in Windsor-Essex County. The Windsor Corporate Challenge provides the business world with exciting activities/challenges that break through workplace barriers, engage employees with a spirit of togetherness while raising funds for a great cause.
