Our story…
Our team is running to raise money for our current project “Gikendaaso Anwebi Waakaa’igan - Place of Learning & Rest” in Kenora, ON. This project is a partnership between SchoolBOX and the Gaagagekiizhik elementary and Bimose High school (Kiizhik school) and together we are creating a land-based learning center through the construction of an Indigenous library and outdoor classroom on the school’s campus. It currently has no library and we are changing that. And you can help. All of the proceeds from this run will go to helping us cross the fundraising finish line for the Kiizhik school!
