AJC PEACHTREE ROAD RACE OFFICIAL QUALIFYING EVENT
Since our first 5K in 2014, our supporters have helped us provide 72 scholarships, free ACT/SAT workshops to over 100 high school juniors and seniors, add financial education to our local middle schools curriculum, and provide books for children residing in shelters. Our students need us now more than ever!
While we are still focusing on your safety, we are committed to our mission of serving the community. We are grateful for your support and participation during the pandemic. We are keeping the virtual component of the 5K so you can continue to join us from across the country and around the world.
We are inviting you to join us at Jess Lucas Park or from wherever you are and REPRESENT YOURSELF! You may walk, run, jog or trot with us in Hapeville or do it on any 5K course you like - even on your treadmill or in your neighborhood.
This family friendly experience is perfect for runners and walkers of all skill levels and ages. All of the proceeds go towards scholarships and our educational programs.
We're bringing back our amazing pre-5k experience, live DJ, and of course - Fun After the Run! If you are a virtual participant, you'll feel like you're with us as we stream from Hapeville. It's going to be just as fun as it's always been!

RACE DETAILS
- $25 "Early Bird" Registration ends May 13th
- Virtual registration is open until Saturday, September 24th
- Join an existing team or create a new one when you register!
- Once you have registered, look for important information and updates via this site, email or Facebook and Instagram
- ALL REGISTRATIONS ARE FINAL!
All finishers will receive medals and prizes will be awarded to individuals and teams.
VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS
You will have until midnight September 25th to submit your times. Upload your results using a tracking app - Strava, Runkeeper, iWatch, Treadmill or any tracking app you use. You can also simply post your time and send it in.
ALL REGISTRATIONS ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE.

We are all in this together, so grab your friends and family and register as a team! We're giving prizes to the top fundraising team and the largest team!

Help us reach our goals!
You don't have to run to get involved! You can also DONATE or make a PLEDGE to a runner/walker or a team and encourage your friends and family to run/walk.
You can even PROMOTE this event and get paid without registering or get referral fees after you register. There are so many ways to help. Pick the ones that work best for you. But most importantly, get involved!
RACE DAY
Race Day Registration and Bib Pickup will begin at 8:00 AM at Jess Lucas Park in Hapeville. You will be able to register onsite on race day. If you register onsite, you will receive a bib, however we cannot guarantee that you will receive a t-shirt.
Race begins at 9:00 AM.
Kids Fun Run: Children are welcome - register them for the Kids Fun Run! Finishers will receive medals.
Medals: Must preregister to guarantee receipt. Medals guaranteed to runners pre-register by September 20h. Day of race registrants will receive medals as long as supplies last. Medals for virtual runners who pre-register by September 20th will be mailed out after the race. If you registered for the in-person 5K, you must be present to receive your medal.
T-Shirts: Must preregister to guarantee receipt. T-shirts guaranteed to runners pre-register by September 1st. If you registered after September 1st or if you register onsite at the park, you will receive a shirt and medal as long as supplies last.
T-shirts and medals will be given to registered in-person participants after you cross the finish line. Only those that pre-registered by 9/1/22 are guaranteed a shirt.
IF YOU REGISTERED FOR THE IN-PERSON 5K, YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE A SHIRT.
Only those that registered for the virtual 5K will have their shirts and medals shipped to them. **If you signed up for the virtual 5K, your items will not be available for pickup at the park**
Awards Ceremony will follow the 5K. Awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers.
The Represent Yourself 5K is a Rain or Shine Event!
Parking: Parking is FREE! We will have several event parking volunteers to assist you with parking. There is parking adjacent to Jess Lucas Park as well as along South Central Ave. and North Central Ave. You may also park at Wells Fargo Bank - 590 S. Central Ave.
DO NOT PARK AT THE POST OFFICE!!
Fun After the Run: Be sure to stick around after the race to enjoy the Fun After the Run festivities

We are USATF Certified!
The start and finish line will be filled with energy, music, and refreshments. We'll be chip timing the start and finish.
After the run be sure to hang around for Fun After the Run where there will be even more fun and dancing for all to enjoy!
FAQs
Q: What is the final day for registration?
A: Final online registration is September 20, 2022. You will be able to register onsite at 8:00 AM when you arrive at the park.
Q: When will I receive my medal?
A: You will receive your official Represent Yourself medal on race day only. Medals for virtual walkers/runners who register by September 1st will be mailed before the race. All other virtual participants will receive their medals after the race.
Q: How can I contribute more?
A: If you're not able to attend, please consider donating to the foundation.
If you are registered you can contribute to yourself. You can also pledge to a team or another individual participant.
Q: If I signed up for the in-person race, do I need to be present to receive my medal?
A: Yes, due to the logistical challenge to coordinate individual medal distribution after the race, you must be present.
Q: Can someone else pick up my medal for me?
A: Yes, as long as they have a print out of your registration confirmation. If you cannot be present, please make arrangements.
