It's amazing what families can do when they come together!  

In 1979 two moms, who met each other in the waiting room of a psychiatric center while visiting their sons, started up a friendship and started a movement! That's how NAMI was born. 43 years later NAMI has over 600 local affiliates and 48 state organizations working to raise awareness, break down stigma, build advocacy and provide education and support to individuals and families.

NAMI is dedicated to improving the lives of millions of Americans affected by mental illness and creating communities of support!

On Sunday, September 18th I will be walking to raise money to support the amazing work of one of those local affiliates, NAMI Rockland, the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Rockland County. 

Your support helps ensure that no individual or family is alone on their mental health journey.

Help my team (NAMI Families) and I raise critical funds to enable NAMI Rockland to provide families affected by mental health challenges with much needed Support, Education and Advocacy.
