My Story…
Honor our fallen heroes & give back to the ones protecting us today
He tirelessly researched the fallen firefighters of World War II and ensured that memorial plaques were placed in their respective fire stations.
Then came September 11, 2001 and he himself lost his life in the line of duty: Fireman David Fontana (FDNY).
For the 21st anniversary of the terrorist attacks, I will be participating in the San Diego 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in his honor so that he too will not be forgotten.
110 floors (the height of the Twin Towers) are to be climbed and you can support me in this endeavor with a donation to FirefighterAid, a San Diego nonprofit organization dedicated to serving firefighters and their families in times of need, illness and death.
No matter the amount, your contribution will make a difference in the life of someone who would give his life for you. Thank you!
While the stair climb is over, there's still time to give. The deadline for donations benefiting FirefighterAid was extended until September 30th!
