Tidewell Trot 5K Run and 1 Mile Run/Walk

Race for brighter days! Join us at this year's Tidewell Trot - Tidewell's signature 5K and 1-mile event on Saturday, November 5 around the lake at Nathan Benderson Park. Bring the family to support the Tidewell Foundation and make life brighter for all those served by Tidewell Hospice and other nonprofit Empath Health Affiliates in our region. The 5K begins at 8 a.m. and the 1-mile run/walk begins at 8:15 a.m.
At 7:15 a.m. dance coach Michelle Leon will lead participants in a danced-based warm-up in honor of her grandmother.
The Kid's Dash events for kids 12 and under also will begin at 7:30 a.m.
After the 5K, enjoy a vendor fair, food and drinks, and fun! Sponsorship opportunities are available! Call 941-552-7651 for sponsorships or more information. 
Participants receive a race T-shirt and finisher's medal as well as awards for age group and top finishers
Individuals and teams who raise additional funds are eligible for other great prizes!

Weather Cancellation Policy
We value runner safety. In the event of severe weather conditions, the director(s) reserve the right to cancel the race for the safety of its participants. Registrations cancelled due to inclement weather will not be refunded, but instead used to cover event costs, with the balance being treated as a charitable donation to the event beneficiary.
Conditions that may result in event cancellation include (but are not limited to): lightning, high winds, flooding, fires, and other acts of God.
