What is 5 Days Your Way?
5 Days Your Way is a virtual fundraiser and fitness challenge - complete 5 days of physical activity, in any way, from June 13 to June 17 and raise funds for the TVEF Caring Fund.
Why Support the Caring Fund?
The Caring Fund supports students and families in need at the Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB), and this year we have seen an incredible increase in requests from schools for support. In fact, our request numbers have grown by over 60 percent! Our goal is to raise $25,000 to start off the next school year with funds to help students in emergency financial need.
What are the event details?
How you participate in this event is up to you, all we ask is that you are active for 5 days. Looking to work out with a community? JOIN US: TVEF is excited to be partnering with YMCA this year! We will be posting one Y@HOME exercise video every day on our website at from June 13 to June 17! Grab some friends workout together, or online - and don't forget to post your fun exercise photos to encourage others to join.
Other important details:
- Registration is FREE - race kits while supplies last
- When you register, you will receive an activity card where you can record your 5 days of activity! Don't forget to post your activity card on social media for a chance to win prizes.
- Make your fundraising page your own: join a team, sign up with friends or family, post photos, and tell us why supporting the Caring Fund is important to you.
- Get on social media and tag us, or even challenge friends to participate!
- Follow us on social media for updates, ideas, and posts you can re-share!
Are there prizes?

Race kit pickup will be June 10 - 12 - more details coming soon.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO LOG MY 5 DAYS?
We suggest completing your 5 days between June 13 - 17, however the site will be open until the end of June, so you are welcome to complete your days at any time.
CAN I SHARE MY RESULTS?
Of course! We encourage you to share your activity map on social media and tag @TVeducationFdn on Twitter or Instagram.
WHAT ARE THE PRIZES?
Yes! Prizes will be awarded for top fundraisers and best activity map photos. More details coming soon.
