CANADA DAY ROAD RACES
In support of Perley Health Foundation
The tradition continues! Please join us on July 1st for the 34th edition of the Canada Day Road Races—now with Otto's Ottawa as its title sponsor, and in support of the Perley Health Foundation. There is a run for everyone!
We are pleased to announce that we are returning to our location at Earl of March High School, situated in the Beaverbrook community of Kanata North.
In an effort to offer participants the opportunity to support their community and reduce their environmental footprint, Run Ottawa has initiated a Green Bib option at registration. The Green Bib does not include a medal—instead, $10 of your registration fees will go to Perley Health Foundation. Please consider topping up your donation at the end of the registration process as an additional option to contribute. Thank you!
Post race recovery nutrition will be provided by the Kanata Food Cupboard and they will be accepting non perishable food donations on-site.
RACE INFORMATION:
All participants in the 5K and 10K receive a medal, timing bib, and post-race snacks & beverages. All participants in the Kids 1K Run will receive timing and a cotton race shirt! The option to purchase a commemorative ASICS race shirt is available!

Perley Health is a unique and innovative campus of care. Home to more than 600 Seniors and Veterans living in independent apartments or receiving long-term care, Perley Health is also a centre for research, education, and clinical and therapeutic services. From the person-centred and frailty-informed care they provide within their walls to the imperative research they conduct to inform the greater community – everything we do ensures Seniors and Veterans can enjoy their best quality of life, at any stage of the aging process.
Please note: Athletes competing with Wheelchair – With these races taking place on partially closed roads there are sections that pass multiple vehicle entry points, posing great risk to those competing in racing wheelchairs. It may be suitable for recreational athletes. Please contact Run Ottawa directly for further consultation: questions@runottawa.ca.
