Heart Beats 13th Annual Family Fun Run and Walk

Heart Beats:

Heart Beats Children’s Society of Calgary has been supporting families of children with congenital heart defects since 1987. Many of these children are required to travel to the Stollery Hospital in Edmonton for life-saving heart procedures. Surprisingly, there is no public funding to assist these families with travel or accommodation expenses while in Edmonton. Funds raised from this event will provide much needed financial assistance for these families.

Event Details:

This year we are excited to return to an in-person event being held at Confederation Park. There will be a 5km run, 3km walk and a 1km kids fun run. With returning to an in-person event, unfortunately we are not able to include bicycles or pets.

For those that are not able to join us in person, we are also offering the opportunity to register for a virtual 5km run or 3 km walk event.

Awards:

All registrants able to join us in person will be entered in a draw for some amazing door prizes. In addition, those joining us virtually will be entered in a draw for gift cards.

Fundraising prizes:

Top 3 individual fundraisers ($75, $50 and $25 gift cards)

Top 3 team fundraisers ($100, $50 and $25 gift cards)
