Run for the Sun
The Cumberland Y Service Club has been hosting a running event for over ten years. We pride ourselves on putting on a quality event for our participants. Our friendly helpful volunteers go out of their way to make sure your experience is as enjoyable and rewarding as it can be. We offer a challenging course with lots of support along the way.
The event consists of 3 sections:
Archway Insurance 1/2 Marathon
Atlantic Windows 10k
Amherst Fire Fighters Association 5k
Registration fees
Prices are inclusive of mandatory charges, items, and fees
Archway Insurance 1/2 Marathon Closed
An 'out and back' run from Prince Arthur near the YMCA following a closed course through town streets and onto a dirt surface road across the Amherst Marsh to Fort Lawrence to Mt. Whatley NB and back to the YMCA

Friday, June 24th@ Cumberland YMCA:
5:00PM to 7:00PM
Saturday, June 25th @ Cumberland YMCA:
7:00AM to race time (8:30AM)
Please note: If government Covid-19 restrictions prevent us from holding the event it will switch to the virtual option and all swag will be sent to you.
Absolutely no price adjustments or refunds will be issued but a credit for a future run will be offered if preferred.
