Run the Turkey Trot for Hope certified 5k or 1 mile Gobble Wobble with us on Thanksgiving Day in Mobile, Alabama! Your registration supports Rapahope, a non-profit organization that offers free year-round programming, for families battling childhood cancer. Our goal is to help children with cancer have life-changing camp experiences filled with as many amazing moments as possible. Our programs are possible through the generosity of sponsors, volunteers, and fundraisers like the Turkey Trot for Hope.

Turkey Trot for Hope Details
DETAILS
- Race day registration- Mardi Gras Park from 6:15-7:30am
- Packet Pickup/Late Registration- Wednesday, November 23 at the Port City Pacers (358 Morgan Ave, Mobile, AL 36606) 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
- Distance: Certified 5K course. Gobble Wobble is about a mile.
- Awards: Male and Female Overall, Masters, Grandmasters, Senior Grandmasters and top 3 male and female in age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75-99.
- Special Awards: Most participants, Best Thanksgiving costume, Fastest turkey
Chip-Timed Race Info
Exciting Changes to Your Trot!
- Your race bib will now include a timing chip.
- Inside the chip is a coil of wire (an integrated circuit) that will be activated (creates a signal) when you run over the mats be located at the start/finish line. That signal will be sent to the reader and then to the computer. In the computer, each chip is identified by a number which matches your race bib and your information – name, age, gender, etc. Using the computer, your elapsed time – time between crossing the start mat and the finish mat – will be determined. Those times will be used to generate the results of the 5K.
