My Story…
A young lady I came across working in a retail outlet recently (okay a liquor store!) noticed my Rotary Run for Life shirt. She asked how often I had participated. I said 12 years, 3 as Race Course Director. She thanked me for my service because RRFL was the reason she was still here; why she was still alive. I don't know which specific program helped her in her time of need, but I do know we made a difference in her life.
