PPCLI 108th
Regimental Anniversary
The Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI) was founded on 10 August 1914 and we celebrate our Regimental anniversary accordingly. The HGMF conducted two Virtual Bike Rides in 2020 and 2021. In 2022 we are conducting our third virtual bike ride to raise funds in support of Veterans and their Families. Our charitable fund is the Hamilton Gault Memorial Fund (HGMF) 88878 6647 RT0001. The HGMF supports the Regimental Museum, maintains major Regimental Memorials such as Frezenberg in Belgium, Patricia Park in Edmonton and Lansdowne Park in Ottawa, provides educational bursaries, support PPCLI Cadet Corps and provide Mental Health and Suicide Awareness training and finally bit not last supporting Veterans and their families.
Have fun, cycle 108 km, do 108 laps of the pool, walk for a 187 km or do any other activity of your choice. The aim is to get out, exercise and support the Regiment by having fun as we raise funds for the Hamilton Gault Memorial Fund. You can show your progress to your sponsors by signing up for the virtual bike rides. Just add your daily or weekly progress to the ride. If you are doing a activity other than biking, add your estimate of how many kms it would equal. Most people bike 1 km in 3 minutes, according 30 minutes of activity would be 10 kms.
