DanceBlue DB5K 2022:
Color Me Blue!

DanceBlue is a registered student organization at the University of Kentucky that works tirelessly all year, every year, to raise money for the kiddos! The money raised through DanceBlue fundraising efforts is donated to the Golden Matrix Fund, established to support the kids of the DanceBlue Kentucky Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology Clinic both today and well into the future through an endowment. DanceBlue funds also support the year-long fundraising engine and operations that underpin the mission, as well as providing funds to support research at the UK Markey Cancer Center.

Fundraising efforts are taken on by both the student organization itself, in the form of mini marathons, restaurant nights and events like this 5K run/walk, as well as the UK students who are hopeful participants in our grand finale event each year – the DanceBlue Marathon. The DanceBlue Marathon is a 24 hour, no sitting, no sleeping, dance marathon in which students can participate by raising money on their own For The Kids.

This event, the 2022 DanceBlue DB5K, will be hosted on campus, but we are also offering a Virtual DanceBlue DB5K option for those that can't join us in person.

Each registered participant will be guaranteed t-shirt and packet of color if registered by 10/16!

Sunday, October 30th 2pm-6pm: Top of Wooden Staircase in the Gatton Student Center

Tuesday, November 1st 3pm-7pm: DanceBlue Office in the Gatton Student Center

Wednesday, November 2nd 2pm-6pm: DanceBlue Office in the Gatton Student Center

Thursday, November 3rd 2pm-6pm: DanceBlue Office in the Gatton Student Center

Saturday, November 5th 9am-11am: DanceBlue Office in the Gatton Student Center

You will not be able to pick up your packets at the 5K. If none of these dates/times work for you, please email operations@danceblue.org to schedule a pick-up time outside of these
