All funds raised will benefit the Radiation Oncology Institute (ROI) - the research foundation for ASTRO. Since ROI was founded more than 15 years ago, it has championed impactful, high-quality research to enhance patient outcomes and quality of life.

Visit the ROI Booth, located in the main lobby of the Convention Center outside Hall 1, to pick-up your race bib and t-shirt (for Advanced Registrants).

The Booth is open:

• Sunday, October 23: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Monday, October 24: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

While at the booth, learn more about research funded by ROI - ASTRO's research foundation, complete the 2022 National Radiation Oncology Research Needs Assessment, and make your annual donation to your research charity!

The race starts at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25 at 314 E. Nueva, approximately three blocks from the Convention Center. Shuttle buses will begin transporting at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning to the Convention Center. A map from the Convention Center to the start line is included below:

The ROI 5k is an out-and-back route along the San Antonio River Walk. The route starts near 314 E. Nueva and winds south along the trail. The route managed and the race is timed by our vendor, TimingHQ.
